These sessions are conducted periodically, usually during the Singapore school holidays. The Singapore school holidays are one week in March, four weeks in June, one week in September and six weeks in November and December.
MIX AGE GROUP
The sessions have a mix of different age groups. The older children are encouraged to help the younger ones, interact with them, guide them and be their paired buddies. The younger children are taught to seek and ask for help from the older children.
WIDE RANGE OF ACTIVITIES
Activities range from art and craft, simple snack making (allergies are taken into account), simple indoor sports and games, among others. Topics range from simple science, simple geography, history, and others.

To be comfortable in a small group environment
To be comfortable taking turns
To develop the awareness of the surroundings
To develop the awareness of the presence of others
To be comfortable sitting close to others
To learn group task completion
To learn meeting time deadline
To learn in a group
To learn to communicate with one another
To learn to ask for help from peers
To learn to respond and give help to peers
To learn with another child or in a group
To learn to share materials and toys
To develop skills to function in a classroom
To develop focus and joint attention in a small group setting
WHEN AND FOR HOW LONG ARE THE GROUP SESSIONS?
Group sessions are conducted over three hours, daily over three days or over the course of a 5-day week (Monday to Friday).
